VICE CHANCELLOR'S NOTE

Greetings from Central University of Jharkhand.

The Central University of Jharkhand has completed in second year in march.It haas much to feel pleased about with its steady develpoment and expension programmes. Six more acedemic programmes were

added totally 10 courses and its student admission is based on a common test conducted with six other Central University in the country. 40 new class rooms, 20 new laboratories and student hostel

accommodation for 400 bed capacity were completed. Students' participation in National and State Events demonstrate quality of training and development that students are getting in the University.

CUJ student won the Gold Metal at Mathematics Olympiad organized by Chotanagpur Mathematical Society at Ranchi University; won the second position in Zeitgeist MAnagement Feast at Ranchi; bagged the

first east zonal prize in All India Essay Competition 2010 in Hindi category; won nine medals at the state WUSHU championships at Dhanbad; participated as media volunteers during the 34th National

Games, 2011.the university organised Several Regional, National and One International Conference and Was a co-organiser in two International conferences including the 4th Global Meeting of Association of Universities in which 27 Countries

Participated.

The University will Continue to be stressssed for all, Including the Staff. The University will try to create leaders who think and who can move with confidence and Integrity.
